"We found the hotel clean and exactly as advertized. The hotel is somewhat "hostel-like". The staff that we encountered were friendly and the breakfast was very good and again, exactly what we were led to expect. The location next to the Old Port is excellent - walking distance to several attractions. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to get the old "French" experience in Montreal. I did find, though, that it was a bit expensive...one could have a good hotel for almost the same cost - this is a location for someone who does not want a "standard hotel" and wants a local experience."

"Skip the breakfast if your budget is not too tight."

"I would recommend only for someone wanting to be in Old Montreal for the lowest price possible. They serve breakfast, but beware of the size of the room-- you have no closet, and really no place to put down a suitcase. Two people cannot walk in a room w/ a double bed."

"Small hotel in Old Montreal. Very European, small rooms old style. The best thing about this hotel is the customer service. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I felt like I was the only guest staying there."
